2024 Presidential Election
The 2024 Presidential Election isn’t about race or gender and never should be. All of us need to be committed to finding a President that is competent and is capable of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of office.
Unfortunately, the hopes and dreams of many will be squashed because Kamal Harris is just not that person. She does not have any real policies and the ones she does have are either borrowed from Biden or stolen from Trump. In addition, the ones she is touting are just in an effort to buy the votes of those who want something free or at least it seems to be free. In the long run, all of the free stuff will cost every one of us in the end.
Harris is more interested in helping the illegal invaders than even the homeless and veterans in her own state. Why give millions and even billions of dollars’ worth of aid and support to someone whose first act in this country was illegal? If anything, shouldn’t we first be taking that money and helping those Americans that are down on their luck and need a hand up?
Additionally, Harris recently stated that her “values” have not changed from her Presidential run in 2020. If so, then her policies really haven’t changed. She might say something different in order to look more centric and to get votes, but if elected, she will govern by her values which are very progressive and not sustainable in our country.
There are many major issues facing us and our country that need immediate resolutions instead of idle rhetoric and additional committees or studies. We need action now! Pouring money into other countries or for additional giveaways is not the answer we need. This country is too far in debt to sustain such a practice. We need a leader that is willing to make hard choices and to stand firm and not be wishy-washy or sway in the direction of the ever changing political wind.
